About me
A bit about me. My name is Jacqueline, online username of Starley and I'm currently 22 years old. I am a recent Graduate at RMIT University studying a Bachelor of Design in Video Games. Ever since I was little I have been drawing and as I grew up I decided to hone those skills and become a gaming artist/illustrator, wanting to bring characters and worlds from the mind to life!
Not only through games do I want to share these ideas and illustrations but also have a love for film with story boards and animation.I also an interested in the world of esports and have done an in depth blog, during my time at Uni in an Esports Elective, about the toxicity related to esports tournaments. Rmit Captone Project
Spaceport 925 was my final project at RMIT University which spanded over the course of the last semester, approx three and a half months!
My team, KinectTec Studios made of:
Myself as the lead artist, UI artist, animator and Concept Artist
Ayse as our secondary artist and secondary programmer and animator
Felis our producer
And Tristan, our lead programmer, writer and sound design
But what is Spaceport925? Our game takes heavy inspiration from other known titles such as 'Papers Please!' and 'That's Not My Neighbour', a point and click puzzle game set in deepspace where you, a new customs offical, must clear through all the entrants that come through your doors and send them off to different planets to live new lives! It is a slower pased game that gets more and more difficult as your time at Spaceport925 goes on!Want to play? Click the button to download and play for yourself!

Concept Art Assignment 1 2024 (Briefing)
During my Concept Art Class at RMIT, for the entire semester we had to develop an idea for a whole world based off certain perameters. One being set game mechanics that MUST be included in the design breif, being "Verticality" "Platforms" "Gates" and "Projectiles".
I took to the task in creating the following!
Concept Art Assignment 2 2024 (Blocking)
The second part of this assignment was to create whole environments based off of certain blocking, that our teacher had made for us, to use as a reference.
Concept Art Assignment 3 2024 (Final)
The last part of the assignment was putting the whole thing together as a presentation, going over absolutely EVERYTHING we had created during our time in this project.
